I have been a subscriber for a long time until I started seeing articles with incorrect information and a clear slant AGAINST the holistic movement! They have scam opportunities in the classifieds, they don't believe that vaccines and heavy metals cause disease, and other incorrect assumptions that make me wonder who is REALLY behind the ownership of this magazine. I won't get the mag again.

Are you aware that a company in NC is using your publications and those magazines of others to scam people out of their money? I am looking for an address for this supposed company. I have tried many avenues and came up empty.

I would like to bring to your attention an urgent need for improvement. The matter probably doesn´t concern your organization directly but has to do with your profile as a publicist.

An avid reader of numerous bodybuilding and fitness magazines, I was delighted to find that M&F is now available in Finnish as well. However, I have recently acquired a few issues of the said publication and must say I´m appalled by the poor quality of translation and improper use of Finnish language. Bluntly put, some of the stuff in the magazine reads out like a gung-ho thesis on muscle by a not-so verbally gifted pre-schooler. It sucks, sorry.

I haven´t seen any other translated versions of M&F or other Weider magazines but another point that sticks out: some articles are for a large part useless here, many of the products (especially foods and nutrition products) are simply not available in countries outside of the U.S. This is to say, if you want your publications to succeed in foreign countries, PLEASE require the national publicist to "localize" the material they are about to publish.

The problem (at least with the Finnish M&F) clearly lies in the fact that the editing and publishing seems to be done in ESTONIA, NOT IN FINLAND. Having lived in Estonia for almost 10 years and as a fluent speaker that country´s language, reading the magazine´s text I can easily tell that it has been translated by:
1) a non-native (probably an Estonian)
or
2)a Finnish person with seriously inferior language skills,

using an electronic word-to-word translation program

I CANCELED MY SUBSCRIPTION. SHE IS FAKE FROM HER HAIR DOWN TO HER BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT. SHE HAD FAT TRANSFERRED INTO HER BUTT. IT'S NOT REAL. SHE HAS HAD A TON OF PLASTIC SURGERY AND SHE'S A SNOOTY PERSON. SHAME ON YOU WEIDER PUBLICATIONS.
