The company was acquired by Seaport Capital in December 2004, and in February 2008 Seaport sold the company to private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners. The deal was believed to be valued at about $100 million and was brokered by media investment firm DeSilva + Phillips. Virgo had 2007 revenues of about $50 million.
