Rodale is scamming and defrauding people. They auto-renwed my Runner's World subscription after I cancelled it, then sent me threatening mail claiming it was an "early warning notice" for me to pay up or be turned over to a collection agency!!!! I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Everyone should file a complaint as well so they can not continue these gorilla marketing tactics!

I too have received a book from Rodale under one of those "free" preview however I was away at school and just got home and now have to deal with it. This companies policy is complete BS and I will be spreading this around. I am a big fan of Runners World but this company sucks like none other. I have to call monday to try to get this resolved without paying for it.

I will NEVER buy a book or magazine from this company again! A quick call to customer service or an e-mail never reaches Pennsylvania. All the customer service is located in the Phillipines! I refuse to give any more business to a company who chooses to out source. These people (1) don't give a rats bum about CUSTOMER SERVICE and (2) CAN'T BE UNDERSTOOD!!!! If anyone wonders why they take so long to get things done this could be a reason! And once they have your e-mail address you are bombarded with JUNK!

Hey folks. You should be aware that all unsolicited merchandise mailed to your home is yours to keep. It's been a mail-fraud law for 40 years or more. So just drop the book on the shelf, and mark the bills "return to sender" and drop in the mailbox so they get double the postage cost.

They sent my wife a Betty Crocker cookbook which she did not order. 2 weeks later we got a bill for this from a collection agency.

Organic Gardening offered two free gift subscriptions if I renewed my own. So I sent the card in. Big mistake! Now all I get is bills for the so called free subscriptions and no help at all from customer service.

I recieved a "runners world" Calendar a month ago and thought it was a freebee from my runners world subscription. Then I got a bill for $21 or they said to return it. Well, we threw it away and cannot return it. This is such a scam
