I once subscribed to a Rodale magazine a few years back and I continue to get unwanted books in the mail. I even send back the "NO THANKS" postcard but the books come yearly ( in December) since 2008! I never ordered any books from this unethical company! Thanks to those who posted a phone # to call.

I was suppose to get a gift for ordering from you and I got your envelope but not the gift. On the outside the envelope it read-Your free gift enclosed- but I didn't get one. I would like to get my gift. Thank you.

There must be some way to put these people out of business. I sent them a check for $9.00 and they posted $7.00 and a check for $19.95 and they posted $9.00 now they are saying I owe them more money even I paid in full. I can prove what I sent but shouldnt have to go through that hassle from hell. I am going to register a complaint with everyone I know!

They do not make it easy to get a refund for books that they claim to be free for 21 days.

I finally declared the Publisher the winner. I could never get a real person on the line to discuss the inaccurate billing. I was turned over to a collection agency even though I wrote a detailed account of why I did not owe the $11.99 that just kept growing. Copies of my letter to Better Business Bureau and my Arkansas Congressman. Shame on Rodale!

Rodale Integrates Mountain Bike Into Bicycling Magazine

-- October 20, 2010 -- Rodale Inc. today announced today that Mountain Bike magazine – a six times per year supplement to Bicycling magazine – will now be integrated into Bicycling, the world’s largest cycling magazine. The pages of Bicycling magazine will now include more mountain biking content, while Bicycling.com will offer a dedicated channel to Mountain Bike.

"Integrating Mountain Bike into Bicycling makes strategic sense editorially," said Peter Flax, Editor-in-chief of Bicycling. "This will allow our top-notch team to focus on extending Bicycling's position as the world’s leading cycling magazine and to put all of our biking-related content under one roof.”

Under the direction of Bicycling editor-in-chief Peter Flax, all mountain biking content will now be led by Lou Mazzante, former Mountain Bike editor-in-chief. Prior to Rodale, Mazzante served as the editor of Bike magazine, and executive editor and managing editor of Bicycle Retailer and Industry News.

Chris Lambiase, who was recently promoted to SVP / Publishing Director for Rodale’s Sports titles, will continue to lead all print and digital advertising sales and marketing efforts for Bicycling. Under Lambiase’s leadership, Bicycling is up in advertising paging through the November issue, fueled by the rising popularity of the sport and a growing audience of active, affluent readers.

The November 2010 issue of Mountain Bike – on newsstands now – serves as the final publication.

I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Same thing has happened to me, and they will not refund my money until I get the order I didnt place and send it back. So through with them!
