The Horrifed Viewer from Georgia is incorrect.
I have met Sam Phillips and got a copy of his video. It is not a hoax. You can watch a stabilized version of the video here:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1412409587483171290&q=key+cleveland+ufo

Also it does not appear to be an aircraft, balloon, bird, kite or any astronomical object.

The report from your station in Cleveland, WOIO, regarding a UFO over Key Tower was horrible journalism. Denise Strzelczyk should have done her homework.

We imported still shots captured from the shaky video into a photo editing software. The witness, Sam Phillips, was the only thing moving in that encounter. We imposed a box, copied from the clipboard into each image and found that the mysterious light in the sky never moves in relation to the light on top of Key Bank Tower.

After seeing the report via Internet, we quickly suspected it was a hoax and was intended to draw attention to the peace rally. The fact that the tower light and the "ufo" move around in unison doesn't take a rocket scientist to notice!

It is disappointing that a seasoned veteran like Denise Strszelczyk didn't think to check this out - the report really makes her look bad, not to mention Raycom Media!!! I'm selling my Raycom stock in the morning!
