Why is it when asked to provide stats on both sides of a story WNDU 16 has censored out the question on comments is this the way of Gray Television? Everyone has the right to all the information not half of it

To whom it may concern,
My name is Juliette V. Howard. I watch several news broadcasts daily. I frequently watch WMTV NBC News 15 due to your nonbiased approach and speedy delivery of current events in the greater Wisconsin area. Although I enjoy watching the news it has become dull and monochromatic in nature.
All of the male anchors, meteorologists and sportscasters are on point. They all look, act, walk and talk the part. I am particularly fond of meteorologists Charlie Shortino and Chuck Koch. Their knowledge of the weather and accurate forecasts are exceptional. Their hair and wardrobe are above par. The young and vibrant Tim Elliott is a breath of fresh air. His daily performances are exactly what one should expect from an anchor.
However the women of the NBC News team are below average. Though she has the perfect bubbly attitude, the mousy Christine Bellport throws the audience off with her pitchy voice and ever changing yet never quite right hair. Whether reporting on Moms Everyday or anchoring in the evenings Leigh Mills looks and sounds surprised. Once again her hair and makeup is off putting. Carleen Wild completely misses the mark. She is cold and distant. She hesitates and pauses at all the wrong times. Her small talk is broken and awkward. Her daily wardrobe is less than flattering. It’s almost painful to watch.
It’s unfortunate that NBC News feels obligated to invest precious time and money into a female cast that’s unsatisfactory and mediocre at best. I truly feel that I could do a better job than these women. As a matter of fact I would be the perfect individual to represent NBC News 15 Madison and the greater Madison area.
I have a straight forward personality yet an upbeat and enthusiastic demeanor. Having successfully worked with a variety of individuals, I am very relatable and can connect with several demographics. Not only am I highly intelligent, I am witty and can seamlessly smooth out those moments between spotlights and before commercials where small talk is so important. I speak with a diplomatic eloquence and can subtly command any audience. I have a wonderful sense of hair, makeup and style appropriate to and in agreement with the overall mood of WMTV. In addition to these desired traits of a great anchor, I am an attractive and racially ambiguous female. I can breathe new life into this suffocating team.
Analyze the facts, look at the people you have representing Madison. Ask yourselves “Is this the face of Madison?” and “Can we do better?” If you can do better then give it a try! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please feel free to contact me for any reason at juliettevhoward@ yahoo.com or (608) 216-3249.
Sincerely,
Juliette V. Howard

After 67 Years Adam Young, Inc. to Cease Operations

-- Gray Television to manage 7 stations as part of deal with banks, TVSpy reported on January 10, 2011:

"Adam Young, Inc., the television representation firm founded in 1944, and the cornerstone of what would become TV ownership group, Young Broadcasting, will cease operations at the end of the month.

“This marks the end of an era,” said Vincent Young, chairman of Young Broadcasting and son of founder Adam Young. “The wonderful sales and support teams have effectually carried out my father’s original, ground-breaking vision of exclusive representation over these many years.”"

Hi Ceci,

Gray Television does not own any newspapers. Gray is purely a television company, owning a group of local TV stations and operating other stations for other owners.

You can find more details about the operations of the company at their website. There is a link to it at the top of this page.

I am getting very tired of equipment failures on our channel 11 CBS. Last week it was 5 days and now tonight for no apparent reason. They sure are not running that station very professionally. Not even a crawl apologizing. Rinky Dinky at best.

I would like to complain about the WVLT LOGO, which is displayed constantly on sporting events. It is YELLOW, Very Large, Overpowering, obnoxios and annoying.
