CMP Information was the UK-based media division of United Business Media plc (UBM). UBM sold some of these assets and reorganized others in early 2008. As a result, CMP Information no longer exists.
CMP Information operated in the UK, Europe and Asia, delivering media consulting and solutions to about 20 industry sectors. Its leading publications included Building, Pulse, Travel Trade Gazette, Building Desire, Property Week, Music Week and Chemist & Druggist.
CMP Information had a number of leading directories and exhibitions such as CPhI, FIE, The Interiors Event, ACPO, International Fire Expo and IFSEC, which were recognised as the preeminent events in their market sectors. Its magazines reached over 660,000 readers by subscription alone.
Revenues totalled £159m in 2004.
