Liz Mohn is the CEO of Bertelsmann AG.

Based in Germany, Bertelsmann AG is one of the world's biggest media companies with extensive publishing, music, and broadcasting operations in approximately 60 countries.

Carl Bertelsmann founded the company in Germany in 1835. Reinhard Mohn, his great-great-grandson, built it into a global media company after the second world war. Liz Mohn, Reinhard's wife, chairs the management company which controls the company.

Bertelsmann reported sales of $23.21 billion in 2004.
