I have emailed King 5 TV at least a dozen times and have never received a reply/response of any kind. I imagine that it is because I am a Canadian who really doesn't count as a consumer even though I am a great Seahawks and Mariners fan and our family makes many trips to Washington state to shop and visit.
My main complaint is that EVERY SINGLE Sunday evening the Jim Moira show (scheduled from 8:30 PM until 9:00 PM) runs at least 20 minutes into NBCs Dateline scheduled time. I simply don't understand why programers can't arrange the program so that they START AND END THE PROGRAM on time!
I am contacting Belo as a last resort. If YOU cannot affect a change at King5 could someone please explain why this would happen week after week?
With thanks.

Belo Corp. (NYSE:BLC) , one of the nation's largest pure-play, publicly-traded television companies, today reported net earnings per share of $0.10 in the second quarter of 2009, in line with analysts' estimates, compared to net earnings per share of $0.25 in the second quarter of 2008.

Dunia A. Shive, Belo's president and Chief Executive Officer, said, "The company's second quarter total revenue decline of 23 percent was very similar to the decline experienced in the first quarter as the soft advertising environment continued, especially in the company's larger markets. However, we did see an uptick in sales activity in June that has also carried into July.

"Excluding spin-off related charges in the second quarter of 2008 and non-cash pension expense, Belo's previously announced cost-saving measures led to a reduction in combined station and corporate operating costs of 13 percent in the second quarter of 2009."

I watch this station a lot in Tucson, but for some reason they are broadcasting static and snowy picture for two days now. I was just wondering if they were ever going to get back to a good picture with sound????

We live in Eastern WA and until 12/31/07 we were able to receive broadcasts on our cable from the local channels as well as King 5 channel in Seattle, WA which gave us a broad and comprehensive representation of our state news and information. It is my understanding Belo pulled King 5 from our cable company lineup and I am writing to complain about this move and to request Belo to reinstate the King 5 channel to our cable lineup.
