I have been a Comcast customer for a long time even before it was Comcast. I have usually been pleased with my service and the worker's. Now most of the worker's call you a valued customer which appears to be just works. There are no managers to speak with and the worker's act like they could care less. Bigger businesses than Comcast have failed due to poor management and that is what I see recently. Good luck.

The U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) and Comcast Corporation announced today that they have entered into an agreement to form the U.S. Olympic Network (USON), the first-ever cable television network devoted solely to the excitement, competition and values connected with the Olympic Movement.

Expected to launch in 2010, broadcasting year-round, and using multiple platforms, including television, video on demand and online, the USON will provide a window into the quests of American athletes to reach the pinnacle of their sports. Viewers will be able to watch live coverage of championship competitions and, after 2012, Olympic trial events in a wide range of sports, plus live, non-stop news reports, commentary, interviews from the locations of future Olympic and Paralympic Games, and classic Olympic footage through its exclusive U.S. access to thousands of hours of programming.

Additionally, the USON will provide video on demand content, enabling subscribers to watch their favorite Olympic athletes and their feats whenever they want. A broadband platform will also be established for Internet customers to experience the passion of the Olympic Games online with news, highlights, and event coverage.

Try to get a rebate from your offer. Seems like they didn't offer that offer or at least not in that time period. Such BULL! It is stillo posted on the net each day.I left ATT and Dish with a penalty thinking I would at least break even, but they have no intention of giving you that rebate. Customer service is a total JOKE!!! Get your stuff out of my house.

I have had comcast three weeks and can't get a straight answer from any one if they even answer the phone. I have spent 30 minutes on hold several times and no one knows what the other said or what to do to fix it,in several cities. As soon as you say rebate they are through talking to you. They sure found me with next months bill in ADVANCE. They all have access to your records of purchase but each one will tell you a different LIE. So tomorrow they can come get their stuff!!! I hav had enough.

On April 14th,2009 I saw a commercial on the TV for your internet&phone for 69.00, with no mention about NEW customers. You are right about there being NO customer service-I spoke with an Erin then a supervisor(?)Branell. What a joke! We have been a customer ever since the switch about 15years and they couldn't care less about recognizing current customers. Not long ago they took HBO off of us and didn't credit accounts yet to get it back they want to charge you!?! What a way to run a company. I agree and will tell anyone at work or play DOWN with Comcast come on DIRECT TV or another COMPETITOR. WE NEED YOU

On January 21, 2009, Reuters reported that Microsoft has sold its stake in Comcast:

"Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) sold its 7.26 percent stake in Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O), the software giant disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The filing, dated January 16, showed Microsoft no longer held any Class A shares in Comcast, the largest U.S. cable operator.

Microsoft's stake of around 150.9 million shares would have been worth some $3.4 billion on that day, though the filing did not specify when the shares were sold or at what price. Comcast shares fell as low as $9.20 in September last year.

In 1997, Microsoft invested $1 billion in Comcast to enhance the cable company's deployment of high-speed data and video services via cable delivery network."

Comcast has the worst customer service ever I am so pissed off. I have never had a 30 day period without some sort of interuption in my serivce, but comcast wants their money thought. They will turn you off in a heart beat but will give you every excuss in the book why they cant fix the problems. I plan to send a complaint to comcast the BBB and channel 2 news every week untill they learn how to value their customers Remember for every bad experience with your company a person tells at least 8 other people and that spreads like a wild fire. That is one of the quickest ways to bring a company down. Getting so big you forget the most important person THE CUSTOMER.

I had to threaten to cancel service to get a repair man out to my location. They did a Quick fix (cable across the front lawn) 4 weeks ago and promised to make a permanant repair in 5 days. Called comcast at least 5 times and no one has any record of the service call much less the repair. Whose in charge. Can you help me?

Why can't we get Sports South in the Tallahassee area? We are much closer to the Atlanta Braves than the Florida Marlins.

Will you ever stop keeping the program output volume of FNC very low so that your locally inserted commercials come through at an ear shattering volume?
