All i have to say is that if you think your frustrated hear me out!! The ceo of comcast Brian L Roberts apparentely owns a house on Martha's Vineyard where me and my family have lived for 5 generations, beautiful yes!! Only problem is that he and a few other executive frequent here and have owned houses in the past....and yes we have NO comcast service on Chappaquiddick and not much of a choice on the rest of the island. As a matter of fact there is an article in the M.V. Times as we speak! So basically good luck, its been a constant battle with no light at the end of my tunnel. I just wish that they would stop answering their phone with "Thank you for choosing Comcast, How can I help you?"

Where do I start. Lets go back to the beginning about 4 months ago. Called to get service at my new residence. Stupid I was. The tech don't know anything about hook-ups. They got here and it been hell ever since. I had cable running thru my hallways to reach my bedroom. They told me it was OK. Not bad until i tripped and fell. That started the trouble. Then he could not figure out how to program the remote, then the wireless, well that is another story. He it is the new year. I paid the bill before the due date and it has been a living lie ever since. The so-called customer service is just down right RUDE. No respect from those people at all. Customer service my ass. Example: one rep said I was a smart-ass when i questioned the bill. I got charged all these extra fees for paying bill on time. What a joke. Tried to talk to someone and that is at least a 20 min wait and that is a short time. When you do get someone they claim they have to record of any conversation that you may have had. Today is Jan. 2 and i just got my cable and internet turned back on after 10 days of talking, arguing and being lied to. I will NOT be talked to the way those reps talk to you. I suggest the CEO look at what is really going on. I wish I had the money he has and fire all the people that are extremely ignorant to all the hard working people out there. I would really like for someone to give me one honest answer and and not hear "I do understand". Bull Sh-t answer. Do your job or put people in there that care. Very upset and angry to the point I want to pitch everything outside and run it over. I am looking into another company that has respect. Your company sucks from top to bottom. Will never recommend comcast to anyone.Who is going to compensate me for time off work , phone minutes, and just pure aggrevation for your company ignorance? I hope to speak to someone with some common sense. VERY DISSATISFIED in VIRGINIA. Somebody in upper management needs to contact me in reference to all the ignorant remarks the service center has said to me and my husband. I will talk to you about this in detail when someone calls me back. You have my number

WE have $70 per month cable plan and can find nothing worth watching on any of our chanels. But worse of all is all the "paid" commercials programs that are on. Hours and hours and channel after channel of paid commercials on channels I am PAYING to see. Comcast is getting paid by the vendors and by ME!! I would much rather see movies or entertainment for the money I pay. not commercials.

Just getting a freaking rep on the freaking line would be good for starters. In the last 2 months I have spent hrs. on hold or cut off in middle of a call after a series of audio beeps that were prompted by your call center. I am about to cancel service or transfer service with or without you. I am so dissatisfied with your customer service; I am willing to take my stories to many other military people whom I both work with and for. During my service contract with you for the last two years, I have had several overcharges, three incorrect service hookups and three very rude phone calls from your agents. When I asked what kind of deal you can do for me when I transfer to NJ I get car salesmen pressure and tactics. YOU NEED A FOCUS GROUP PEOPLE. When you contact me, I expect a supervisor to contact me not someone who doesn't have the authority to compromise. I am either going with Verizon which I already have my phone with or you.

To those of you complaining - I know what you're saying. And there is an answer to your problems. It is called boycotting. Disconnect your service and find something else to do with your time. If enough people do this, Comcast will feel it in their pocketbook and be forced to change or sell.

Your service has continually worsened since I first signed up for it, eventhough your propaganda TV commercials promise otherwise. I thught there were laws against false advertising. But when one, such as you buy the law,i.e. banning analog public commercial broadcast, I reckon your above the anti-trust laws, as well! Don't be surprised if you receive a call to come and pick up your junk from the curb!!

Someone had a car accident in front of my house and destroyed the wires and top in the street.
I called Comcast Saturday, couldn't understand what the person was saying, spelled the name of my street 10 times, and finally got the impression someone would be out to repair the wires May 22. Because I couldn't understand the person, I also went on line and was told someone would be out Sunday. No one showed up.
Sunday I called again and was told some had left a voice mail message for me and since they couldn't reach me they had cancelled the visit.
When I explained FOR THE UPTEENTH TIME, that the wires were in the STREET and had been disconnected I was then told someone would be out today with a special request and I didn't need to be here. No one has shown up so I went back on line and was told that I needed to call a local number for a problem such as this. I then called the local number and was told that the visit was cancelled because someone had called me and I hadn't answered. NO ONE CALLED ME. I have now been without cable tv for four days for which I am paying!!! I am now being told that another request has been put in and someone will call me on my cell phone to talk to me. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY IF THE WIRES WERE DISCONNECTED BY A CAR IN THE STREET I HAVE TO BE HERE TO REPAIR THEM.
IN ADDITION, WHY AM I PAYING 25% MORE THAN LAST YEAR, GETTING NOTHING BUT PAID PROGRAMMING AND 40 YEAR OLD SIT COMS AND NO SERVICE. COMCAST SHOULD BE SUED AND PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.

Why is it that Comcast does not prosecute people who steal service from their loyal customers? I have had the service for 4 yrs at Wood Terrace Apartment Homes complex and the neighbors keep breaking into the tower outside the building and causing problems with my receiving service. This time I contacted Comcast because some brave thief used the white coaxal wire to try to steal service and since then I have not been able to either hear or watch my television. In addition, I have been inconvenienced in taking it back to the shop I bought only to find nothing wrong with it. After all my calls, no one from Comcast has been to this complex to fix the tower so I can receive the service I paid for. Inconsiderate Comcast I will never recommend your service to anyone as I see you only worry about how much money you spend repairing towers instead in finding a way to charge the people who damage your property and cause loss of service to your loyal customers. The theft at this building is so obvious. I have had enough of this and is canceling service with Comcast after after having the service as far back as 2003. So that I will have internet and phone service, I will keep Comcast until after the holiday, and I will never use Comcast again no matter where I travel. Sincerely, Broken Hearted :-(

Comcast is a Liberal run machine beholden to the Democratic party. Their forums are heavily modded in favor of Anti-Semites, racists and Liberals. They should spend less time spooning the Dem's and more time improving their crappy INTERNET service. which I have had the burden of being forced to use for the last 25 years. So much for anti-monopoly laws eh.

Comcast Seeking to 'Destroy' Writers Guild, Members Say
-- On February 20, 2011, The Wrap reported:
"Comcast want “to destroy" the Writers Guild of America, say WGAW board members Chip Johannessen and Patric M. Verrone.
Johannessen and Verrone, in a statement posted on the Guild’s website Sunday, said that the writers working for the new owners of NBC Universal need the support of the WGA in their effort to join the union.
On Dec. 14, writers for E! Entertainment Television, Style and G4 voted to join the WGA but Comcast dismissed the action, calling the results an "invalid poll." The company said in a statement that it would not recognize the writers' WGA affiliation until the group goes through a formal process with the National Labor Relations Board."

I am getting no answers from your moderators on the Comcast forum who are extremely biasewd. I would like some answers why important topics are blocked that conflict with the moderators personal opinions? The Comcast disclaimer states these are personal opinions of the mods. You need moderators that permit both sides to be heard.
