There was recently a very bitter Adam Lambert concert review written by Brandon K. Hernsberger. It was insulting to Adam's fanbase, and insulting to Americans in general, because it was accusatory and claimed Americans should feel guilty for some reason and desperately find things to hide their guilt. The review barely analyzed the music and talent of the concert at all. The article was really about political issues, which is off topic. This review was extremely badly written. It was very upsetting to hundreds of people who left angry comments. The author should be ashamed.

Village Voice Media is launching a local ad network, the company announced on June 15, 2009.

Village Voice Media, publisher of 15 alternative weekly papers in cities across the United States, today launched the Voice Local Network, an online ad network that allows select publishers to monetize their content using Village Voice Media's locally based sales forces. In doing so, Voice Local Network serves as a powerful geographic targeting tool for sites that fit into similar content and demographic categories as the readers of Village Voice Media's properties.

Launch partners for the Voice Local Network include LikeMe.Net, Wolfgang's Vault, Curbed.com, Eater.com, Racked.com and Checkoutmyink.com. The Voice Local Network is designed for online publishers that fall under the same content verticals as Village Voice Media's publications, including nightlife, food, entertainment and lifestyle sites that reach similar readers to Village Voice Media's 18- to 34-year-old core demographic.

Over many decades, Village Voice Media has built a several-hundred-person strong sales force distributed throughout all of its 15 locations, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Houston, Denver, Seattle and Miami. Each market supports an experienced sales team that has developed relationships with hundreds of small businesses looking to target local customers. Village Voice Media also has plans to expand its local sales force into other top 20 markets.

Dear Village Voice Media,

I am a UK filmmaker of the award winning film 'The Day I Tried to Live' which picked up 'Best Guerilla Film' at the AOF (Action on Film) Film festival in July. As well as this another film of ours 'Chainmail' (2007) has played at a number of film festivals in UK and USA and was Short listed for the 'Delta Film Award' at the 'Fantastic films Festival' in Manchester UK and premiered on Satellite TV SKY's 195 channel - Propeller TV in September. On top of this we also completed a critically acclaimed zero budget feature film over a few years that found Film Distribution in January of this year.

My Brother and I would love to see if one of your respected critics could attend the Zero Film Festival in December. Our film will be showing on Wednesday, December 3rd 1:25pm at the Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles. I am currently staying in L.A looking for representation.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email.

Yours Sincerely,

John Chance

Anderson is BULL S**T   LA

Posted at 11:08am on Wednesday, August 6, 2008

Jeff Anderson is a incompetent reporter not to be trusted. Anderson reports bogus stories made up headlines and should never be associated with the Voice or LA weekly!

James Larkin and Executive Editor Michael Lacey:

I absolutely question the integrity of the news article from LA weekly journalistically and scientifically.

Biohazard Educational Productions LLC and its parent company True-Film Incorporated challenges the LA Weekly and their parent company, Village Voice Media, to a journalistic and scientific duel. The scientific information contained in Biohazard our 1-hour television program, Toxic Mold Solutions against your article.

Bockelkamp Family

Posted at 10:15pm on Tuesday, December 4, 2007

The Bockelkamp Family forbids any reporter, especially Jeffrey Anderson, from reporting any and all information pertaining to the death of Jeffrey Todd Bockekamp on January 5, 2007. This includes information on his personal life and any government job related issues that may have previously been discussed with Jeffrey Anderson. This reporter lacks the integrity, honesty, or dependability he initially portrayed to this family in conversations related to our deceased son.

His purpose in contacting us was selfserving and his attempts were to gain information on the corruption in the government rather than to put together a human interest story on our son's life as we were promised. He lied about his intent and took advantage of a grieving family making them feel uncomfortable.

We request that Jeffrey Anderson cease any and all contact with Jeffrey Bockelkamp's family or friends. He is NOT GIVEN the right to publish any information on Jeffrey Bockelkamp or his family. Any further contact will result in legal action. We have chosen to work with another more professional reporter.

Sincerely,

Frank P. Bockelkamp
Terry A. Bockelkamp
Bret C. Bockelkamp
