Trying to find a way to notify Reader's Digest Association that I DO Not want any book's. The address on the one sent me for FREE is R.d. Association 7501 Winstead Dr., Louisville, Ky 40281. Since I cannot find this on Web, I am posting it here. DO NOT send me any more books!!!

You all have been sending me reader's digest books that I did not ask for. Please STOP sending books to me. I cannot afford your books and I detest having to pay for something I did not ask for. This is the second time this has happened. How do I get my name off your list? So, STOP, DESIST AT ONCE. ALSO, DO NOT BILL ME FOR BOOKS I DID NOT ORDER. i received in the mail a letter on last minute advisory 47,000.00 days from being awared but on checks that were suppose to send back it has a shiree cappo name on the checks from treasures office it says hugh delivery and assign to her name on 91 aero drive in waynesboro .,va. so something is not right here, got two person names and wrong check sent to return to you guys!! thanks judy ladendorf 326 sandy ridge road waynesboro, va 22980... email rodeogirl499@yahoo.com

Received a bill from RDA for "VOL 3-10 $21.98
Delivery $5.99, Tax $1.68 Total Due: $29.65"
Do not know what Vol 3-10 consists of, did not receive anything and do not appreciate such tactics and will not pay.

I ordered the Legends of Country Music--Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys, 4 disc CD's, and there are only 3 disc's in the package.Number 2 is missing. I will not pay for them until I receive Number 2!!!!
Please send the other Disc. It was packaged that way and sealed!!

Well, I entered the sweepstakes and 3months later, they sent me a condensed book asking me to pay $10 dollars for it, and I did not even order it! Also they first said that the sweepstakes are free, but now they are forcing me to buy a book as they have already "confirmed my position".

I called a # and asked to speak to the CEO, Mary Berner. They connected me to 914-244-3700 to speak with a customer service rep. The rep was very kind! She discontinued the shipments, cancelled any future orders, and sent me a refund of a book I had paid for earlier b/c I didn't want it to go on my credit. She also reassured me that it will NOT reflect on anyone's credit. I hope this helps you.

I'd like to kick Reader's Digest in the NUTS! I am SOOoooo ticked-off. They had better stop sending me books I continue to return and billing me for them anyway. I'm an underwriter and it WILL show up on your credit report...I've seen this time and time again. BMG is another problematic company...we ought to send Reader's Digest some white powder...

I received two condensed books that I never ordered. They said that they were free.
Next I received a bill for VOL 2-10 THE SCARECROW, which I never ordered.
Then, I went to this web site to find that I was not alonein this scam.
I'm going to try th BBB to report this.

Received an invoice from Reader's Digest Association stating that I had been sent volumes 2-10 The Scarecrow. I never ordered, nor did I ever receive these volumes, and had I ever received them, I would have refused delivery.
This appears to be a 'scam' being wrought on individuals by Reader's Digest Association. This company needs to be investigated by the Attorney General.

I have the same problems with Reader Digest, The 1st time the lady I spoke to laughed & said to keep them & I did! Now a year later, In the last two days I have received 1 package & next day 3 packages, one was torn open & it was Taste of Home, recipes, big folder. Is Taste of Homes in on this scam? I have read that Readers Digest has gone bankrupt! Why are they still sending ? This time I will talk with BBB! At 70 years old I should not have to keep taking them to the post office! And I warned them not to send me anymore, do I have a right to keep them without their destroying my good credit?
